Advanced threats require advanced skills. Cybersecurity professionals should enhance their skillset to tackle them effectively. For this, we hosted 2 Advanced Malware Masterclass Workshops as a full-day events in Istanbul and Ankara to help cybersecurity professionals to achieve that advanced skillset. In the sessions, our offered practical insights and real-world examples, helping participants deepen their understanding of malware analysis and strengthen their defenses in various topics, including:y

The sessions were filled with interactive knowledge-sharing, hands-on learning, and networking opportunities. Both were the perfect workshops for those with cybersecurity experience looking to deepen their understanding, enhance their defenses against sophisticated threats and meet with fellow experts in other industries.

Expanding Horizons: From Istanbul to Ankara

Our Istanbul workshop brought together professionals from the finance, e-commerce, and energy sectors. These participants shared how cybersecurity challenges uniquely manifest in their respective industries, enriching the discussion with diverse points of views. Encouraged by the success of this session, we decided to broaden the conversation by holding a second workshop in Ankara.

In Ankara, the participant pool expanded even further. Attendees represented a wide array of sectors, including finance, government, e-commerce, ISPs, cybersecurity product developers, cybersecurity service providers, and airlines. This diversity was key to uncovering unique challenges and solutions faced by different industries when it comes to combating malware threats.

The workshops were not just about knowledge transfer; they were also about starting meaningful conversations. With such a varied group of participants, we explored cybersecurity challenges from multiple angles, identifying best practices and innovative approaches for malware detection and response. For example:

  • Representatives from government organizations shared insights into securing critical infrastructure against sophisticated malware threats.
  • Banking sector representatives highlighted the importance of protecting financial systems
  • E-commerce professionals discussed strategies for safeguarding customer data and transaction security
  • Cybersecurity product developers and service providers exchanged ideas on integrating advanced malware analysis capabilities into their solutions.

These cross-sectoral discussions highlighted the importance of collaboration and the value of diverse perspectives in being up-to-date with the ever-evolving cyber threats.
